I believe beauty lies in classic, simple, unprocessed elements, and I’m always searching for traces of an old and fading world.
My paintings are built in layers, mainly with oil paints. In the early stages I sometimes incorporate mixed media- acrylics, markers, collage, and more.
I combine classical and nostalgic motifs and imagery like nature, women, birds and still life.
Together, these elements evoke deep emotion and a sense of warmth, sometimes even a gentle ache for something just out of reach.
