When I was little girl, we had a book that I really liked, "Thumbelina" ("Etsbeonit" in hebrew) translated, adapted and illustrated by the great writer and illustrator Nurit Yuval.

On one of the pages was a beautiful swallow.  my sister and I liked this page especially.
For long minutes we watched the beautiful swallow, with Thumbelina sitting on its back, fly over the village, saving Thumbelina from the boring underground life the rat intended for her.
 
33 years after,  at the age of 39, this swallow still exists in my heart, and gave me the inspiration for freedom in the form of a big swallow in a world of magic and love.
